Hello!

I've created a new community for lesbian couples that have or are interested in adoption! Feel free to check it out, and join if you want!

It's still under a bit of construction, but that doesn't mean we can't start using it! Please visit:

Diverse morals are important for changing our lives and making us see new perspectives. So what's better than a place that accepts your diverse morals? A fun community interested in music and your opinions - as long as you have real* opinions

Check out the_sirens

*real opinions - reasonable opinions, opinions that have actually been thought out with real basis. As things should be. :D

How does everyone feel about the presidential election of 2004?

personally, over all I just want to try someone new. Not Bush. I really don't agree with so many things that he's done over the past four years at all.

but as much as Kerry seems like a decent guy, I still don't think he's what we need right now, especially since he's too unsure of his standings.

So the choices: Does what daddy says and tries to make national law on *his* religion despite the diverse amount of people living in this country OR man who backs out of situations too quickly which is what we cannot have especially in wartime. I'm afraid Kerry'll just back out without fixing things and I'm afraid that Bush will just drive everything and everyone to hell on a bus.

So, out of those two, where do you stand?

To show what a ture liberal I am, I was sitting down at a table filled with conservative republicans and this ultrasnotty lady asked me how school has been going.... school is out, MADAME (I actually said that). Oh, well what are you plans for the summer... well, I'm going to attend my Uncle Calvin and Aunt Johns wedding and nurse my grandmother back to health after her abortion...

Why do I put myself in these social situation?

Well, yesterday the vote was done in the Senate on whether or not the Federal Marriage Amendment should be voted on. It was lost.

So Bush's attempt to distract the public from all of the current problems in our country has failed. He attacked a group of people that are just trying to be part of their country and failed (which makes me very happy).

Let's continue to show people that we will not divide our country. We will learn tolerance for people of all kinds, and that we are ready for a new president.

The republicans are trying to pass an admendmant that bans gay marriages. The democrats, dun dun dun da, have request it go right to the floor. It would seem that that's what the republicans would want, but since they do not have the necessary votes for the admendmant to pass, that's a bad bad thing for ultraconservatives facist supposide Christians.

Hmhmhm. What will happen? I don't know. We will find out.
